WageLINK Groups
WageLINK groups are established as follows...
- At least five companies agree to contribute information to the WageLINK
database.
- The companies usually have a common interest in wage and salary levels, such
as companies in the same industry, or those in close proximity to each other.
- If necessary, WageLINK will form a committee of representatives to select which
job descriptions to include in their survey. Selections may be made from the job
summaries already contained in WageLINK, or the committee will develop job
summaries for the job matching process.
- WageLINK will set up the survey group by assigning a group number, passwords
to all group members, and job codes for all new job summaries.
- Once job summaries and passwords are created, the group members can begin
loading wage and salary information into the database.
- After information has been quality checked by WageLINK, the contributors
and subscribers can begin to extract wage and salary reports from the
database.
Depending on the arrangement with the group, invoices for subscription fees are
sent to the sponsoring organization or to each contributing member.
WageLINK reserves the right to extend participation in the group to other
organizations either as contributing members or as subscribing members.
New contributing members would need to meet membership criteria
established by the group. Subscribing members are allowed to extract
reports without having to contribute any wage and salary information. They
pay a substantially higher subscription fee.
