All of the records in the WageLink database are submitted from contributing companies.  In submitting records the following process is followed:

ø        The contributor is presented with a job summary that describes the job for matching purposes.

ø        The contributor is asked to submit at least an 80% match, which means that the duties being described in the WageLink job summary are performed at least 80% of the time by the employees in that job.

ø        The information sent to WageLink does not go directly into the database.  Instead, it is placed into a holding table where it is reviewed by a WageLink professional.

ø        Contributing companies are contacted concerning any information that appears questionable.  Typographical or matching errors are corrected in this process.

ø        After passing this quality check, the data is sent to the WageLink database.

All of the statistical calculations performed by WageLink are based on accepted statistical formulas.

WageLink reserves the right to exclude, at its discretion, any records which would compromise the information in the database.
